Hi, I'm Dr. Lisa Taylor, superintendent of Hayworth School District in Central Illinois. We have been working with Trafera's educational and professional development teams for nearly the past 2 years to really dig into AI and appropriate use in education. AI and the subject in general is something that quite a few staff were reluctant, and just very hesitant to consider implementing. The facilitators provided by Trafera really did a good job of making us think through our positions, to look at some of these tools from different perspectives to really talk about how artificial intelligence is used in college, in the work world, in our real lives. We work together to create some tools and resources to post throughout our buildings and to share with families, and one of those is that AI. Use scale ranging from no AI allowed for this assignment or activity to full AI use with human oversight. How do we use AI to enhance our understanding and not just take the easy way out and replace learning. It has been great to have sessions that staff are looking forward. To where they're learning to use so many different tools and just in control of the implementation of that. It's just been exciting to see people using AI in different ways, sharing tools with each other, and for this to have been our focus for the past couple of years, and we're just looking forward to continuing this journey.
