Why did you choose TradeDay over other funded trading challenges?
Joseph : So I chose TradeDay because I really like the company's emphasis on wanting their traders to really succeed. Building good trading habits, like immediately failing your challenge or immediately losing your funded account. If you trade on news events, which it should, it's a really good habit to have and to almost be forcefully to have formed. And you really have no, no question about whether you should be trading news event or not because you shouldn't. And I really liked their trailing drawdown policy, but the trailing drawdown policy was fantastic. It really allowed me to, you know, if I was, down for a day, get myself in check, pick it up and, end the day with profits and be trailed on that PnL rather than an intraday PnL and not kind of have a model and where, yeah, an unpredatory model is the best way to say it.
How has TradeDay helped you in your journey to becoming funded with them?
Joseph : One of the biggest things TradeDay definitely helped me with was one of the resources that they had and it was some voice recordings from a book that was based on the Psychology of trading. And I thought that that was fantastic. It was one of the things that I was definitely struggling with a little bit and being able to hear those voice recordings and, you know, be shown a new side to trading the psychology aspect of it. Something that I had just started to really explore was very helpful and I was very grateful to have that for free. I mean, not for free. Exactly. But you get it.
As a funded Tradeday trader, could you describe your experience with the TradeDay team?
Joseph : I thought the TradeDay team was fantastic. Honestly, as soon as I finished my challenge, I did my onboarding onboarding, you know, got my paperwork done and right in the smack of the morning, they set up my account very fast and swiftly and there was one hiccup in it in which there was a charge that, said I needed to have paid. But in reality, they didn't because I had had my, account after, before a certain point and that charge was lifted gratefully and it was, very swift, very swift, very quick. Emailed them back and forth. Boom. Within five minutes, I was ready to trade finished. My challenge went to sleep. Woke up, boom, had an account. It was great love them.
