Why did you choose TradeDay over other funded trading challenges?
Aram Feriants: So one of the main reasons that I chose TradeDay is that it is as simple as it gets, there's about three rules. And besides that, you're completely in control of your trading, you can trade as many lots as you want. according to the plan that you signed up for, but you know, they don't limit you in any way. So they give you the freedom to execute your edge, your trading strategy, your business plan. And as long as you can stay disciplined and follow your business plan and treat it like a business, then you are gonna get funded and you're gonna get flexible payouts, you can take out whenever you want. There's no limits. It's, it's literally like a live account. So it's completely up to you. The ball is in your court and your performance is going to be a true reflection of whether you get funded or not. There's no hoops to jump through. There's no nothing like other prop firms. So that is a main huge edge for TradeDay amongst the world of prop firms.
How has TradeDay helped you in your journey to becoming funded with them?
Aram Feriants: So the TradeDay evaluation process actually helped me quite a bit because it's a 10 day evaluation. I kind of tweaked my mentality and my strategy to just compound smaller gains. Like for a while, I was trying to get those big wins, those big $1000 days, $2000 days. But that doesn't always work out and most likely you end up blowing, blowing up trying to chase those days. So I kind of went back to the drawing board. I said, all right, it's way more manageable just to make a few $100 a day and compound those gains over 10 days because it doesn't matter if I hit that target in five days or six days, I'm still going to have to trade 10 days. So make it as easy for myself as possible and compounding gains works and having a smaller goal, a more manageable goal works as well. And that's something that really helped me in my trading.
