Speaker: Brian Kammers
Kindly introduce yourself and your company. How long have you been a part of the Dream Team at Total Aquatic Programming?
Hello, my name is Brian Kammers and I'm a regional manager at Desert Aire has been manufacturing HVC equipment since 1978 to control the temperature and most importantly, the humidity in indoor pools, we make equipment for very small pools all the way up to very large natatoriums. We have the most efficient HV AC equipment for the pool environment with a number of unique energy savings features. We are honored to be part of the Build A pool dream team. The dream team is a collection of companies that provide more than just products to the owners and operators of pools. They are a respected group of professionals that share their knowledge and experience with the attendees of the program, the collective knowledge and experience of the dream team complements the vitally important lessons of the build and program. A pool conference design is committed to educating people regarding the importance of HVAC in the indoor pool environment. Available on our website are technical bins to educate people on the important aspects of that pool environment. Our involvement with the dream team and the BUILD and program A pool conference is an extension of our mission to educate owners and operators of pools. And as an example in that commitment, Desert Air has been a supporter of the build and program a pool conference for 20 years. The conference is not only a place for attendees to meet with companies in the dream team. It's also an opportunity for people from the different dream team companies to connect with each other. Mick and Sue of Total Aquatic programming who put on the conference are an in exceptional resource for anyone wanting to start and operate a financially successful pool operation. The critical lesson is programming comes before design. The design of your pool facility should be the outcome of the services you wish to provide in your pools. But the lessons from the BUILD and program a pool conference do not stop there. It's not enough to have the right facility for the business you want to have, you have to have customers and part of the conference is about how to effectively market the programming you offer to your community. The program also touches on how to respond to competitors providing similar services for these reasons to build a pool and program a pool conference is mandatory for anybody wanting to start and be successful operating a financially sound pool program and pool facility. I encourage anyone that wants to own or operate a pool to attend the build and program a pool conference which will be held next February on February 1st and 2nd. And furthermore, I recommend attending the Association of Aquatic Professionals Conference and Exposition that follows the BUILD A pool conference on February 3rd, 4th and 5th. The AOAP conference provides a vast array of educational opportunities that you cannot find anywhere else. The 2025 National Build and program pool conference and the A OAP conference will be held at the Trade Winds Island Resort in Saint Pete Beach, Florida from February 1st through the fifth. And for those that might be concerned about missing the Super Bowl. I already checked the Super Bowl is the following weekend after the conferences. I do hope to see you all there. Thank you.
