Speaker: Ashley Graham, Human Resources Director
2024 Compliance Training
Ashley Graham: Hi, team. My name is Ashley Graham. I'm one of the Human Resource Directors here at TNAA. I'm here today to talk with you about 2024 Compliance Training. In previous years, we have assigned one topic each quarter with about a month to get it completed, depending on the length of the training. This year, we took a different approach. We took a step back and we took into consideration the Speed Initiatives happening across the organization, the smaller head count, as well as larger desk sizes, in some cases. The goal this year is to focus on the topics that are required for the organization. To stay compliant at a State and Federal Level. I'm gonna walk you through a preview of those topics that we'll be moving through for 2024. Let's start with the topics that are required for all employees across the organization. Those topics will be Cybersecurity, Ergonomics, Disaster Preparedness, Workplace Violence and Mental Health. For employees that live in the state of Illinois or New York: you will also be required to complete the Anti-harassment and Bystander Intervention training. You might be wondering what those time commitments are going to look like, let me walk you through that. For most employees, you can expect about 2.5 hours of training. For employees that live in the state of Illinois, you will have about 4.5 hours of training to get completed. For employees in New York, it's about 3.5 hours. And then for supervisors in the state of New York, it'll be about 4.5 hours. The goal is to roll this out early and give you a really flexible timeline to work with; so that you can budget your time and get the training completed by the due date. The expectation will be that you complete the training within the confines of your regular work day. You will see some communications that will begin to come out starting with communications from Heather Smith, our Talent and Development Manager. Additionally, you will receive some notifications from UKG that will come from Travel Nurse Across America and those could be, notifying you of your training being assigned or they can be periodic reminders of the due date. Each lesson can be easily accessed in the UKG Pro Learning or the UKG Pro Learning APP, which can be downloaded to your smartphone. For the future of Compliance Training, we're going to continue to assess and monitor the industry and the workload across the organization and we're going to continue to adjust accordingly. We are more than happy to hear feedback and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to myself or Heather Smith, our Talent and Development Manager. Thank you so much for your time today. Have a great day.
