RAVE Recognition Committee

Jeremy Rayford: Good morning, everyone. My name is Jeremy Rayford. I'm one of the Senior Directors of Recruiting at TNAA. We're gonna have a little fireside chat this morning and I'm gonna tell you about, what I think is, the most important committee to be involved in a TNAA, the Rave Recognition Committee I've been very fortunate part of the RAVE Committee for a couple of years now. I'm gonna tell you a little bit about what the RAVE Committee is. But first, I want to tell you about the 2023 members because this group was, had a really big responsibility this year because we had a record number of Core Value nominations, Employee of the Month nominations. Yeah, it was a, it was a big responsibility being a part of this group and, they did an exceptional job. So, of course, we have our fearless leader, Ashley Graham, who has headed up the RAVE Committee ever since its inception. Then we have Matt Dalton and Heather Smith, Alison Oates Britney Goshen, Caitlyn Dixon and Emily Lamey. Then of course, Rachel Dill and myself and it was a, it was a pretty special year. So the reason that I say that, that the RAVE Recognition Committee is so important to get involved in is when you think about what is most important to TNAA, when you think about all of the things that we do and all the things that we talk about all year long, everything we do and everything we say is rooted in our Core Values. And while being a part of any committee is a selfless act, you're giving your time and your effort back to the company to make things better. So, while all of our committees are very much rooted in the Core Values, the RAVE Recognition Committee is the group that gets to celebrate and reward those Core Values and, and so it's, it's really a neat thing to be a part of. So, every single month, here's what we do. Every month we get together and we compile all of the Core Value nominations for that particular month. In many months, it was 30, 40, 50 Core Values nominations. So I I telling you, it is impossible to have a bad day when you are reading through 50 examples of Core Values nominations from your peers. It's pretty incredible to, to, to see that outpouring of support and attitude. It's neat to be a part of that. But we reward so every month we reward four Core Values, nominees and they, receive their Core Value awards. And then from that, we also do our Employee of the Month Awards as well. So, we give away two of those. So, every month there are four Core Value winners and there's two Employee of the Month winners. At the end of the year, we take all of the Employee of the Month winners and there that gives us 24 people and we whittle those down to 12. And from those 12, we choose three of the Sue D Bender Excellence and Service Award winners. And, and those people get $2000 in cash and their name on an engraved plaque and it's a really special deal. And so that's really cool to be a part of. And then uh we also get to vote on and, and reward the Diamond Difference winners. So that's a big one as well. It's a leadership award that we give out every single year to the folks that have displayed various things and as part of their leadership tasks. And it's pretty special and then sort of the, the grand finale for us is the Gene Scott and Norman Hoggard, Leadership Award, the BIG Leadership award. And that's the one we give to three people. It comes with a $2000 cash reward and, and a plaque as well. And that's a, really, really big deal and a lot of fun to celebrate. So we're very lucky to be a part of that. I really encourage you to, get involved in any way that you can. But if you're gonna choose one committee, the RAVE, you really can't go wrong. Uh, it, I think 2024 is gonna be an even bigger year than 2023 with regards to the number of nominations and just how much people love celebrating each other. So we're gonna need people that can get in there and really make a difference. So thank you for, for being here with me today and I, and I really hope that you find a way to get involved and if you have any questions about any of this, please call me. So thank you.
