Please introduce yourself and share what brought you to the event at which you heard Tina speak.
Keith Myers, Ph.D, LPC: Greetings, I am Keith Myers Dr. Keith Myers and I am the current founding clinic director of Ellie Mental Health of Marietta. I am also an adjunct faculty member with Richmont Graduate University and Walden University, Tina Morales. She is someone who I met several years ago at a commencement ceremony, a graduate program and counseling graduation ceremony that they had put on and they had a student representative be the speaker from the student body and Tina was selected to be the speaker and I was immediately struck as she began to talk about how much energy and passion she had for what she was talking about.
How would you describe Tina's presentation in 3 words?
Keith Myers, Ph.D, LPC: I would say it was spirited and insightful and thought provoking.
What was your biggest takeaway from your time learning from Tina?
Keith Myers, Ph.D, LPC: I would say that I learned that Tina is a master at using her story and her lived experiences and her culture in interweaving those aspects of herself into the topic that she's talking about. It really makes the topic go from something that could be kind of dry or boring to something that people are interested in listening to.
