Why did you decide to work as a Special Education Teacher?
Lisa D.: Ever since I have been little, I have always loved children, and I have always had a desire to teach. It wasn't until I started to pursue a career in education that I decided to look into the field of special education. I retired from special education in 2018, where I taught for 26 years, but I have missed teaching and my students that I decided to go back.
