You've taken part in a retreat in Bonnevaux. What will stay with you from your visit there?
Magda Jass: My visit to Bonnevaux was like a dream come true, except it was better than a dream because it was reality.
Magda Jass: You have the buildings themselves which are beautiful and it is steeped with the prayers of it having been an ancient monastery. Therefore, prayers have seeped into the soil, into the vegetation and into the buildings. And you can feel it the minute you are there.
Magda Jass: The services are wonderful. And as Father Laurence says, the Scripture reads you, not you just read the Scripture. In other words, it affects you, it affects your heart, your mind and your soul. And you are changed by it.
Magda Jass: Usually you like something when it believes the same thing as you do, or it can give you a new experience, and being at Bonnevaux at a retreat gives you a new experience that will change you for the better. Thank you.
