A talk on meditation, addiction and recovery: My name is Linda Kaye and I'm an alcoholic and an addict. And I am so grateful to be here tonight to share this journey with you. A little bit about the spiritual awakening from the 12 steps of recovery. But before I start that I do want to tell you all that I am a person in recovery, I don't represent any any particular 12-step programme. I am a member of a 12 step programme. I go to meetings, I sponsor people. I work the steps. And this is the way that I have found the journey to wholeness and healing in my life. And that's what I'm here to share with you and what I hope is that there's someone here in this room who is on the journey like I am on the journey and maybe you're stuck like I was stuck. And maybe you can hear something that will open the door.
