Speaker: Brooke Santamaria

Brooke Santamaria: My advice is to go for it. It's just so much easier to get things started with the help of other coaches who have done all this before and can show you what this looks like.

What made you decide to invest in Make the Leap?

Brooke Santamaria: I decided to invest in the Make the Leap program after I finished up with the nurse Coach Collective, uh, this last year. I had decided early on that my goal was to go into private practice and I had been listening to Shelby and Laura's podcast the entire time while I was going through the collective and just decided that that was going to be the best way to really get the ball rolling and make things happen for me. Um, I operate much better with a coach and I knew this was gonna be a really successful way to push me into doing the hard things that need to be done. So that I could get on my feet in my own practice.

What has changed personally and professionally since going through the program?

Brooke Santamaria: Professionally, I have made some serious strides towards getting my business up and running. Um, and I'm so grateful for that. I understand what needs to be done because Laura and Shelby have laid out a formula that works and is easy to use and follow. I have learned so many things, but what really strikes me most deeply right now is that I've learned to come out of my shell by connecting with people, and I've learned to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. I've learned that it's OK to step out and invite people to coaching. In opening up your own business, there is so much that comes at you all at once, and it just feels like a whirlwind, but make the Leap has really helped me slow down and take it one step at a time. And it's all about balance, and that is one thing I still feel like I'm learning is balance.

What are you most proud of so far!

Brooke Santamaria: I'm just so proud of how far I've come in such a short period of time. I'm proud of my dedication and willingness to put in the reps to make my business successful. I ran my first workshop not too long ago, which went really well, and now I can say I have 2 paid clients in my 1st 3 months of private practice. So I'm really proud of that.

What would you say to a new nurse coach contemplating investing in Make the Leap?

Brooke Santamaria: My advice is to go for it. It's just so much easier to get things started with the help of other coaches who have done all this before and can show you what this looks like. Laura, Shelby, and Amy are so supportive and helpful throughout the process, and I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today without their guidance. So my advice is do it.
