What inspires you to give?

Ted and Marlene Temple : Hi, we're the Temples. I'm Ted, and I'm Marlene. Marlene and I consider volunteering and giving a privilege. Both of us were raised by families that gave and volunteered their time and resources to make our community of Marion a better place to live. Both of us were educated at Ohio State and becoming alumni. It inspired us to volunteer and give to this great university. Growing up in Marion, Ohio with the Ohio State University at Marion in our backyard was an excellent way to give back by giving financially and remaining actively involved. We were honored to support the school by naming the admissions office in the Eugene Maynard Building. Likewise, we have been an active part as officers of our local alumni club to continue with giving back to this community. We hope to continue with the philanthropy to Marion with scholarships to area high school students through the Ohio State University Alumni Club of Marion County. Thank you.
