Joseph DeLapa, MD: I gave it to Ohio State University because the Ohio State University College of Medicine gave me the opportunity to become a physician through the MedPath program. Which was a program designed to help students from underserved and underprivileged areas become healthcare professionals such as myself. I originally came from southern Ohio in the Appalachian rural region. Which I have since returned and been able to give back to the community. That is all possible through Ohio State University. And their outreach into the community, particularly in Ohio, and therefore I'm very grateful.
