Which activities or hobbies have had a positive impact on your mental health?

Darren Northeast: I do like my holidays. I really relish the idea of going on holidays. I love going on holiday on my own, but equally, I love going with my husband as well. I also am a really big theatre and cinema goer as well. So I really enjoy the escapism of being in a live theatre or or, watching a great movie in the cinema.

Are there any books, podcasts, or resources related to mental health that you've found valuable or insightful?

Darren Northeast: Um, funny enough, I'm actually only just, uh, listening to a book this week, and I haven't been able to stop listening to it every five minutes. I've been trying to, listen to it, and it's by Joshua Fletcher. And it's called, How does that make you feel? Now, this is very well known in

Darren Northeast: those circumstances. So not only am I really, really enjoying this audible book by Joshua Fletcher, but I'm also getting a lot out of it for myself, but also for future clients as well

Is there a particular person or support network that has played a significant role in supporting your mental health?

Darren Northeast: My personal support network, that plays a a significant part of my mental health. Is my friendship group around me. I have I'm lucky enough to have many friends in various different circumstances circles, so and each friend or friendship group always brings something different to the party as well. So I really enjoy working with friends and speaking to friends and spending some downtime with friends as well.

What would you say to other people who are experiencing poor mental health?

Darren Northeast: Now, if you're not comfortable or confident in talking to other people, that may be a little too much. There's a plethora of online resources that are available, and we all have access to the Internet nowadays, and it's very, very easy to find a whole raft of self help tools out there online, which means you necessarily might not need to engage with anybody else at this stage. So reaching out talking to people, whether that be face to face online and also looking at online resources as a great way to help improve your mental health
