Speaker: Louise MacKenzie-Cooke, HR Business Partner, Hunting Subsea - Enpro
Could you describe a time that The Mental Health People helped your organisation ?
Louise MacKenzie-Cooke: So we've just recently been working with Emma Tomes from the mental health people to help us really open the conversation and to raise awareness of a very important subject here with our employees at Hunting Subsea Limited. And I'd had the pleasure of working with Emma before in a previous organisation. I was really keen to have her, help us engage with the teams here and to, open that conversation and to really get people thinking. It worked really well and was well received. I think a number of people in the room was perhaps quiet on the day, and you could see afterwards that they were taking on board what was said and and a little bit of conversation and buzz around the coffee points. So, I had also benefited from working with Emma before on a personal level. I had worked with Emma to go through a very structured grief counselling process and after losing my mum and her style and her manner are, are well suited, to discussing really difficult matters and difficult subjects, but also providing that support that's that's needed, to to me, as an individual and to our teams here
What has been the most significant impact of working with The Mental Health People ?
Louise MacKenzie-Cooke: So it's had it's had a huge impact, In a very short space of time,
What would you say to other organisations thinking of working with The Mental Health People ?
Louise MacKenzie-Cooke: So I would say, if you're thinking about working with a mental health, people and Emma, just do it. I think you know her own experiences, lend themselves to her having a great understanding. And her her method of delivery and style is is great.
