Speaker: Jamie Harris, LPCC, Insightful Empathy
Jamie Harris: My practice was struggling with needing a practice. I needed clients and I needed them fast. And the lazy therapist really, really helped me get a marketing plan in place and my materials up to speed and my website is fantastic and I wouldn't be where I am today without her.
Jamie Harris: I can't say enough about the results after working with the lazy therapist, um it cracks me up that she calls herself the lazy therapist because she's anything but lazy. And uh the proof is in the pudding. My website is something I'm actually proud of. I am happy to share with potential clients and encourage other people to visit. Um My Google ads system is sort of functioning on its own now and continuing to drive people to my practice. I work in Los Angeles. So it is a competitive marketplace and Amy really helped me find a way to stand out and highlight my unique specialties and uh my practice is thriving.
Jamie Harris: The lazy therapist is different because she's real, she's human, she's not automated. Um, she has an amazing sense of timing and a grasp of the language and is funny as all get out. Um, honestly, we would be friends if she didn't live in Minnesota. Um, but she really was so approachable and I never felt like I had a stupid question, you know, I probably did but she never made me feel that way. And she, it just, I could really feel her rooting for me. This was not just a business. She was really invested, um, in my business, which made a big difference for me.
Jamie Harris: Client fees are probably one of the most stressful parts of most private practices, what to charge, um, how to make sure that a potential client feels like you are an added value to their life. Um And you that you can really meet their needs. Um, and lazy therapist really helped me put into words what it is I have to offer and why that is worth what I am asking clients to pay, um giving them opportunities, giving, you know, ideas like 30 minute sessions and, um, you know, sort of making cost comparisons about what they might be spending their money on otherwise and showing how investing in themselves is really a great way to look at this. Um It took sort of the fear out of the money piece for me. Um And for that, I'm eternally grateful.
