Speaker: Jared Staege, Senior Project Manager
What does an average day as a TDR employee look like for you?
Jared Staege: I think what average is, is problem solving every single day, solving problems. The great thing about those problems is they're always unique, almost always unique. Often I'll come to a day, not really sure what to expect. I've got ideas, but as soon as you start talking with clients or even internally, folks have needs quite more often than not, you're running into things that maybe you've never done before or haven't thought about or maybe you're just looking at it from another perspective and you need to think of a solution and it's beautiful and it's fun and it keeps things interesting every single day knowing that it's not anonymous, you're not going to be just going through the motions. There's always an opportunity to learn something new and work very closely with the rest of our crew on those endeavors. You know, we have a team of amazing people and that's something I love about every single day coming to work is working closely with them.
What stands out to you about the culture at The Digital Ring?
Jared Staege: Everybody is super helpful, everybody wants to help each other and ultimately, we're all striving towards a common goal, which is to get the best output for our partners. No matter what that looks like everybody has unique goals and what's amazing about achieving those goals for our partners is everybody with this willingness to work together. And it's not always about doing the big flashy thing. Sometimes it's about, you know, working in a spreadsheet or doing something behind the scenes that's not super fun.
What's your favorite thing about working for TDR?
Jared Staege: Has to be the people. I've been here for five years now. I have seen people come and go. But the majority of those people have been amazing folks and especially the ones that we have here today. Everyone is just a joy and a blessing to work with. It truly does feel like a second family to me, not just colleagues or employees even being fully remote, which I thought would be more of a challenge. We've done a great job sticking together, staying connected, whether it's through company outings or just daily or weekly touch bases with people, checking in seeing how folks are doing, making sure everyone is doing all right. And you know, ultimately just continuing to build those relationships. So that's what I love about The Digital Ring.
