Speaker: Bess Donoghue, Account Executive - Team Lead
What does an average day as a TDR employee look like for you?
Bess Donoghue: When you're on the accounts team, your average schedule could include a variety of tasks. Some of these could include just general project management, making sure someone on your team has all of the pieces that they need to move forward with completing a task for a project or for an account. It could be participating in different meetings and also leading those meetings. That could be meetings internally, you're connecting with the specialty team, checking in to see what questions do they have, helping to strategize, helping to brainstorm. It could also be meetings with clients. Whether you're presenting something in large, getting feedback on something you've sent over or it could just be a general sprint kind of check in meeting with a client to just kind of keep them apprised of how everything is moving. Other tasks that could be happening throughout the day is taking some time to help set up different projects, whether you're helping your creative team work on something in the back end, helping to put together an email for a client for an email blast. We kind of are a jack-of-all-trades and just work to help wherever we can.
What stands out to you about the culture at The Digital Ring?
Bess Donoghue: What stands out to me about the TDR culture is the amount of teamwork and creative collaboration that happens with this crew. Everyone is willing to jump on a call and answer any questions, willing to help brainstorm and strategize ideas for projects and clients that might not even be their own. There's such a willingness to see each other succeed and to encourage each other and to hear about every other people's success stories and that culture of encouragement and support is, in my opinion, rare and so it's exciting to be a part of a team where everyone has your back and wants to see you find eventual success.
What's your favorite thing about working for TDR?
Bess Donoghue: I have a few favorite things about working at TDR. But ultimately, my first is definitely the people. I love all of my colleagues here, everyone is incredibly friendly. Everyone works very hard, but also, you know, can have a really great time. There's been memory, many memories and laughs made over the years. And also the clients are just wonderful people and I love just getting to collaborate with all of them on taking their marketing to new levels and helping them achieve all of their goals. Another thing I really enjoy about working at TDR is just the opportunity to explore. You kind of get out of it what you put into your work here and there's a really great chance to embrace something new, to try something different, to take a risk and make some new discoveries. And I think that's always kind of making for exciting new challenges and prospects as you go forward.
