Steph Duxbury: I am Steph Duxbury, I'm a senior Public Health practitioner at Lancashire County Council.
What was the service The Comms Guru provided to you?
Steph Duxbury: So my team and I worked with The Comms Guru to create a package of animation videos to support our Foundations for Wellbeing Programme of work. We really wanted to design some short and very engaging animations which would help us to raise awareness of some key public health concepts, including health equity, and why taking an equitable approach to how we design and deliver our work is important. The Comms Guru were recommended to us, and after speaking with them and also seeing some examples of the work, we were really confident that they could help us to bring our vision to life.
What was it like working with The Comms Guru? Tell us about your experience.
Steph Duxbury: So working with The Comms Guru was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Both Paul and James were so quick to reply to our questions and our thoughts, and really nothing was too much trouble. Everything went really smoothly and we were kept up to date throughout the entire process. The production of the videos came within budget, and also were delivered ahead of time. We had a quite clear idea of what we wanted the videos to look like, which James executed perfectly, but it was also great that he brought his own suggestions and some added extras that we hadn't even thought of, which really elevated the final product.
What would you say to people who are thinking about working with us?
Steph Duxbury: So just as The Comms Guru were recommended to us, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others too. The communication from both James and Paul was excellent throughout and we're so happy with the final package of animations and can't wait to start sharing them across our colleagues and beyond.
And finally... If you could summarise your experience of working with us in just 3 words what would they be?
Steph Duxbury: If I had to pick three words to describe our experience of working with The Comms Guru, I'd say Collaborative. There was lots of sharing of ideas and open communication, Accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, and also Professional. Everything ran very smoothly and very efficiently.
