Could you please share your #1 tip for sales success or a piece of advice that you believe would be most valuable for other ACBJ sellers ?
Lisa McFarlin: I would say my number one tip for sales success is persistence. The average salesperson gives up after a couple of attempts, and it really takes 7 to 10 reach outs to even sometimes secure a meeting, let alone close a deal. So not giving up and being persistent, but also knowing when to give up. When you have exhausted all possibilities and you don't want to waste too much time if they're not a good prospect. But most sales people just give up after one or two attempts of trying, knowing that most companies get called on by about 30 of us a day from various different outlets. It's really hard to get their attention in the first couple of times. So having a strong VBR and trying different ways of reaching out, such as calling or networking or emailing or even LinkedIn. Persistence is definitely my number one tip.
