How is the future looking for Saudi Arabia's hospitality sector?
Fritz Dickamp: What's going on everybody? My name is Fritz Dickamp. I am the managing director at Studio 49 and one of the hosts on the Smack Hospitality podcast. Look for us here in Europe. It's super exciting to see what's going on in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Vision 2030, and what the government has put in place to promote tourism, to promote hospitality, to promote the culture of Saudi. Saudi Arabia is spectacular to see. It's interesting to see how a region, an entire country is being developed into a tourism destination with very different parts of the country aiming for different types of guests. So we're very excited to see and follow that, excited to contribute to the growth of tourism in the country and see how we can support the Saudi Vision 2030 with our knowledge of online marketing and social media and all the rest of it. FHS is a great event to do that. I'm looking forward to see you all in Riyadh very soon.
What excites you about FHS, and how do you see it influencing the hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia?
Fritz Dickamp: We've been going to the FHS events for a couple of years now and we've learned to love them for multiple reasons. First of all, Jonathan and the team do a great job in terms of the organisation. It's seamless every time we've gone. And then there's two aspects that are good for us. Number one business. Yes, it's good to meet clients, partners and potential clients and potential partners in the region. And it's also good to get a feel for the culture of the region and especially in a country like Saudi Arabia that's up and coming.
