Why should you attend the AAOS/OTA Daily Dilemmas in Trauma course?

Paul Tornetta III, MD, PhD, FAAOS: We've been holding the Dilemmas course now for about five years and what we found is that everybody gets something out of this course. It's case based, there's true experts in the room with you. And honestly, I think that the faculty learn as much from the participants as the participants do from us.

J. Tracy Watson, MD, FAAOS: It's really a great way to participate in a very unique and interactive format. Regarding new information on common trauma issues that you may encounter daily in your practice. Not the crazy level one things, but those common fractures that may cause you some heartburn at times or keep you awake at night.

Ross K. Leighton, MD, FAAOS, FACS, FRCS(C): It gives you great access to a wonderful faculty who are very good in trauma. But also they've been specifically chosen for their expertise in certain areas of trauma. So they can really share that with us with extra expertise in shoulder elbow, knee, et cetera. So I think you can take that right back

Yelena Bogdan, MD, FAAOS, FACS: The one takeaway that I hope people will get from the course is that there is no one right answer sometimes in trauma and that there are many ways to do the right thing for the patient.

Paul Tornetta III, MD, PhD, FAAOS: To me the Dilemmas course is one of the more fun courses that I do every year. I get to hear a lot of opinions. There's a lot of banter, there's a lot of disagreement and it's really, quite a lot of fun.

Brian Mullis, MD, FAAOS, FACS, FAOrthA: I always learn something new as faculty and it's not necessarily from the faculty. many times I learn things from folks that are in my small groups and through these discussions. So hope to see you there so I can learn from you.

Stephen Kottmeier, MD, FAAOS: We hope to see you at the Daily Dilemmas in Trauma virtual course on May 4th, please join us.

Yelena Bogdan, MD, FAAOS, FACS: We hope to see you at the Daily Dilemmas in Trauma virtual course on May 4th.

Paul Tornetta III, MD, PhD, FAAOS: On behalf of myself and Tracy, our course directors, and really all our faculty, we hope to see you on May the fourth. Yes, Star Wars Day.
