Please introduce yourself and share how Thanksgiving Heroes has helped you.
Lacey Lund: My name is Lacey. And this year I was nominated for Turkey Box for Thanksgiving from Thanksgiving Heroes. And I have to say I am so very grateful for this group. I am beside myself. I did not think I was gonna respond this way. I'm ugly crying enough that my iphone went open with my face ID and I actually had to use my pin. I've never been in the position that I've needed to accept help from others. And this is just a severe blow to my myself. And I've always been the one that's making sure I'm contributing to turkey boxes for other people's Thanksgivings. And I now know what it feels like to be in need and have that need met and not just met but really met because with all my illnesses and my allergies to preservatives, there were some items in the box I was certain I wasn't gonna be able to enjoy for Thanksgiving. And they came with preservative free items that I just a lot of thought and love goes into these boxes. And I am just so grateful for you all the people that the sweet family that came to my door to deliver these with their smiles and their, and their love. It was just amazing and I'm, I'm beside myself. I, I'm just so beside myself. Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to you all. I so appreciate all the volunteers and all the hard work and the fundraisers and all that that you went through to seriously taken, taken aback. Thank you so much and happy Thanksgiving.

Lacey Lund: This is Lacy again and I think I got myself together that I could give a proper thank you to everyone that volunteered in those that donated. And I thought I had myself together here. I am going on again and Rob and Annie for heading this up. You, you all are so I there are words that can capture how much I appreciate you guys. Heroes isn't a big enough word. Thank you for all that. You do. You've literally made my year anyways. Um I was hoping to get through this without crying and this is, I don't know how many times I've re-recorded this and that's why you're getting audio because ugly crying. My Bell's palsy eye is not um match my other eye but you, you guys are so awesome. Thank you so much and I hope that this time next year, I'm in a better place and I'm able to actually help you guys and do all that I can and I'll spread the word. Thank you. You all are heroes with a capital bolded italicized h er os exclamation point to infinity. Thank you.
