Bret Borth: What really sets curate apart from other information, repositories is really its ease of use and how it's delivered every day, and the way that you can find information really quickly — relevant information. And I think with everyone's busy schedules, we don't have time to wade through a lot of information that's meaningless before we get to some things that are useful. With curate, you can be on point with getting information that is relevant to what your situation is and have that delivered in a way that it's really easy to find.
What would you say to undecided leaders about Curate?
Bret Borth: For my own purposes working for a national firm, I've got a real wide catch base that I need to search. The fact that I can get this organized by state is another real good advantage. So I would just simply try it and compare it to what you're using right now. That way you can have an apples to apples comparison.
Can you describe a time when Curate helped you?
Bret Borth: For me, there was a certain prospect that we had been having a tough time getting into and I was able to customize my search to find out what projects this prospect was looking to get. You could find that out in a number of different ways but before they actually got the project, there were some discussions at a city and county level where people were talking about this company as a potential bidder. But I also was able to find out a profile on what type of projects they tended to build and find leads for them through Curate. So I was able to approach them with a much better value proposition than I otherwise would. When they realized that I could help them with the research I was doing they certainly gave us a try, and we've ended up doing some work for them. So, success story.
