Trace Coats: Hello, my name is Trace Coats. I work for Bucknell University and I am the Assistant Director of Technical Operations, which means I handle all of our health and safety concerns for our student record system, which is Terra Dotta in this case.
What challenge has Terra Dotta's platform addressed in your organization?
Trace Coats: For us, Terra Dotta has really presented a solution to normalize our application process that allows us to integrate different processes here on campus. Whether it be recommendations, student application reviews, conduct reviews and things of that nature, we really have those things function according to program, location, advisor, student need, et cetera.
What has been the impact of using Terra Dotta's platform?
Trace Coats: So the impact of using Terra Dotta has really been simplifying our process in terms of finding ways to create solutions for individual programs that might have certain requirements and processes for solving problems as they arise with when our processes change and finding solutions. Terra Dotta has helped us with that overall, in terms of things like conduct review and using triggers the new trigger system to really initiate reviews and conduct reviews of students. We're looking at ways to also utilize that with a health review from our student health services. So it really has helped us utilize or conquer new problems as they arise.
