Tina Fox: Hello, I'm Tina Fox, founder and CEO of TERN Mentoring. My life's work has culminated in living my legacy through mentorship. I'm honored to share this journey with the incredible Mentors and Mentees who, thanks to the vision of their universities, have engaged with TERN's platform and curated programs. As the first in my generation to attend a US university, I carried the dreams of my Taiwanese immigrant mother and my father, a retired US Army colonel. Well, they gave me everything they could, what they couldn't provide was a professional network. Mentorship was the bridge that I sought, but finding mentors and building meaningful relationships, well, that's not easy. Years later, serving on the board of my own alma mater, I met students who reminded me of my younger self, ambitious, capable, but maybe a little unsure of where to turn for guidance. And after 22 years in MedTech, I became what I call an accidental entrepreneur. I never set out to start a company, but when you care deeply about a problem and are willing to give it everything you've got, something extraordinary can and will take flight. And TERN Mentoring was born. Every day we partner with innovative universities, devoted alumni, and students eager to grow. Together we create a ripple effect of impact. Students, they gain clarity, confidence, and community. Parents see their children surrounded by support. Employers, they welcome graduates who are truly workplace ready.
