Rachel Dishman: With TERN Mentoring, I was first a student with the program, and it was amazing to see the growth and transformation that I had when I went through the program as a senior and how confident I was to go into the adult world when I graduated. I then became a mentor with TERN Mentoring and I was able to give back and show students that they can do this just like I am.
Rachel Dishman: My favorite part about mentoring a student with TERN Mentoring was to see their growth throughout the eight sessions that we had. At the beginning, they were first very unsure what they wanted to do postgrad. They had a lot of questions, a lot of advice needed, and by the end of it, we were giving each other guidance and we were both growing and learning through the process. I loved being able to go through that with them.
