Carol W Hamilton: I love the TERN Mentoring platform. I have provided mentoring to students for 12 years, doing it all myself, finding the people, making the connections, following up, checking in at midterm, following up problems, trying to bring closure at the end. It was a ton of work. It, it was well worth it. But when this platform from TERN Mentoring was introduced to the class, all of that work faded to the background. It was being done but not by me. And so we were able to connect mentors and mentees easily on matching day. We had celebration in class and talked about who we'd be meeting and who we were working with and then we celebrated again at the end with a party and a, a debrief of what we learned from our mentors and it, it was a fabulous experience and it just took the headache and the time commitment of the matching and the follow-up away and let me just enjoy the learning experience with the students and bring out the learning that they gained from having those one on one conversations.
