Which university partner should I select?
Hello and welcome to teaching channel. My name is Tracy Schantz. I'm our director of Learner Experience and I'm here today to talk with you about choosing the best university partner for you. When you register on our teaching channel website, you'll be selecting from our 1, 2 or 3 credit graduate level continuing education courses to earn an official graduate level transcript. Each of these courses is offered in partnership with one of our eight different university partners. Our partner selection includes universities and colleges from across the country. All are regionally accredited and all will work very well in meeting state and license renewal needs. To begin if you've been in advancement courses, customer in the past, that has chosen to partner with a university partner. that for the graduate level courses, advancement was offering, you may have already selected a course in partnership with the university and you may have also already selected Augustana University, Andrews University or SNHU, Southern New Hampshire University. All three were partners with advancement courses and we continue that partnership with teaching channel. So they have also been long standing partners with teaching channel. Additionally, you'll have some new partners to choose from American College of Education is our premier university partner. They are by far our most popular partner because they are very quick at expediting that transcript. And it does seem to work well for districts and states across the country. And for everyone, there is no one better university than another. It truly becomes personal preference, timing, ease of transcript request. Those are all very important factors when considering the partner that works best for you. Additional partners that you may choose from when registering in the teaching channel, current include Roosevelt University. They are out of Illinois as an Illinois educator, you may have selected Greenville University in the past when you were registering with advancement courses, Roosevelt University with teaching channel would now take the place of Greenville as an Illinois educator that in state institution is very important and Roosevelt meets that need for you. Additionally, we offer a partnership with Lourdes University out of Ohio, also Upper Iowa University, a great Midwest choice and Pacific Lutheran University out of Washington. So many great choices. All are fantastic universities to work with you, certainly don't have to choose a university that's located in your state unless that is a particular need of your district. And some might have that requirement, but most will require something like a university that is regionally accredited, which is the gold standard in accreditation. And so all of these partners are regionally accredited and all will meet that criteria. Again, welcome to Teaching Channel. We're excited to see you join us.
