Tara Roe: My favorite part of the teaching channel experiences was the amazing and variety of courses that were offered. Everything from the science of reading to teaching strategies and mathematics to classroom management, there was something for everyone, and I was worried, teaching all day and then taking courses on the weekend. I thought I'd never finish, but they are so manageable and cost effective. So I am since last August, I've completed 7 out of my 83 credit courses that were required for movement on my pay scale. I have 1 to go. Instructors are fabulous and knowledgeable, and they give you great constructive, positive feedback, and they're quick about it. The turnaround is really incredible. So if you're wondering or worried or thinking, do it, just do it. You won't be sorry.
