What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Marcee Harris: Hi, I'm Marcy and I am one of the course designers for the unlocking the potential of artificial intelligence in education course. And uh we created this course to address this need in the community to learn more about the potential of A I for teachers and teacher leaders to really dig deeper into what generative A I is, how it works, how it can be used to enhance student learning and how it can really help build some efficiencies and um lighten your load when it comes to prep and planning. For example, did you know that you can use some A I tools to develop vocabulary words and response questions to a text? Uh Our hope is that when you walk away from this course, that you have um uh a greater confidence in your understanding of this new technology and also in uh your ability to utilize all the resources that are out there to enhance your teaching and learning practice.
What do you love about this course?
Marcee Harris: What I love about this course is that we provide our teacher learners an opportunity to tinker and explore. That means we give you all of the resources and tools that are out there and we say go try it out. Um You know, try a tool, see what kind of input once you can uh enter and what the outputs are. Uh just try it all and figure out what works best for you, for your students, for your teaching style. So I, I encourage you all to take this course and, and get your hands in and try some of the A I tools that are available.
