Tell me more about your course formats.
Tracey Schantz: Welcome to Teaching channel. My name is Ashli Furlong and I am our Customer Support Manager here at the Teaching Channel. I am here to welcome you as you transition over from Advancement Courses to our Teaching Channel cart. Today, I am going to address our course formats and guide you through the similarities and differences. As you make this transition first, I will start with our graduate credit courses. These are for you, they were graduate credit and for us they will be graduate level continuing education courses. These are the most popular option. These are offered in partnership with one of the great university partners and a transcript is available upon completion. There are a few sub formats in this category to meet the needs of our learners. We offer our OL which is our standard online course. These are all self-paced. You want to allow about 45 hours for completion of these courses on a three credit course. We also offer our on site which is a blended course. This offers a synchronous session that is a Zoom session. We also then offer our fast track courses which offer a great option for those educators that are on a tight timeline and need some expedited evaluation options. Next, we would have what you guys previously referred to as your ce courses. You would now be enrolling in a flex credit option with the Teaching Channel. This course would follow the same course format as our online courses. It's 45 hours for completion, same coursework due. You would then receive a letter of completion issued by the teaching channel. Upon completion of the course. This works great. If that letter of completion will suffice for your district or your needs. Finally, we offer our professional development courses. These are shorter courses. They're quiz based courses that many districts and individuals will use to meet their PD requirements.
