Hey guys, welcome to TeacherUp My name is Clint Rutledge and first and foremost, I wanna say thank you. Thank you to you principals. You know, you guys have an extremely challenging job and you don't hear the words "Thank you" enough, I'm sure. Not only do you have to run a school but you have to deal with difficult parents. You have to make sure that the kids under your care are safe and are in a structured environment so that they're learning and progressing like they should. And then in the midst of that, you've got your staff, your teachers and every day, somehow you have to find a way to make sure that they have a great place to work. Well, our hope through the TeacherUp app and through this platform is to provide a way for you to encourage them to come alongside and partner with you to make sure that your school is one of the best places in America to teach. The way we do that is through our program that you'll find in the resource center. In this program, there are a series of monthly themes. They can range from anything from the power of a positive attitude to integrity, to hope to commitment or persistence. We tried to map it out so that it kind of fits with what emotions are going on throughout the course of a school year. With each month, you will have a short 5 to 7 minute video. This video will have a story and an application and something as a way of saying thank you and encouraging teachers to keep being great at their job. But the heart of it all is in what we call the daily Strong Thoughts. Every single day, our goal is to help put something positive in front of your teachers and it requires nothing on your part other than just to, to be a part of the whole process. What we do is we schedule it so that every morning at 5 a.m. something shows up in their feed and it can be a quote. It can be a short inspirational video. It can be even a funny cartoon or something about teaching that just makes them smile. But it's a way to encourage them to either draw a smile or to remind them of just how valuable they are or to stick with it when times are tough. What we wanna do is take advantage of a process that we all go through. The process goes like this. What we put into our mind on a daily basis determines how we think how we think determines the choices we make. And the choices we make, determine the habits we develop, and the habits we develop, determine the person we become because we are a product of our habits. So it all starts with what you put into your mind. So it only stands to reason if you want to have a positive school, a positive work environment with a positive culture, you gotta put positive things in front of your teachers. We recognize that with all that's put on your plate, it's just not possible for you to do that every day, but we can help you, we can partner with you to make sure that they are getting that. And then you just have the conversations where you can and when you can't, you don't, now the way you can use the videos is you can do absolutely nothing with them. You can just let the teachers watch them if they want to or if you want to use them at a faculty meeting, you can play them at the beginning and then there's even discussion questions if you want to go that far with it. The main thing when we created this program is we did not want to create something else that you have to do. We know you are asked to do too many things already. But what we did want to do is take some things off your plate to help you create this positive culture without having to do anything extra. So we hope that you will get great value out of this TeacherUp app. We hope that it will do what it's intended to do and it will make your school the best place in America to work.
