Speaker: debora fernandes, therapist and owner, Overcoming Trauma
What do you believe was the most impactful part of your experience in the Launch Your Private Practice Program?
debora fernandes: The most impactful part of this experience for me was, I guess, two aspects, um, The modules as well as the group setting. Um, the modules were really helpful. Tara provided a lot of really helpful and useful information and a lot of like worksheets and handouts for us to be able and templates for us to be able to have. That was really helpful. Um, the group experience and the group part of the program was also really helpful to. Um, to be able to have that group setting and group feedback and also have that space to be held accountable, was really helpful. Um, and I guess the third aspect with that too, I really do value my one on one sessions with Tara as well. Um. She's able to help support me and just listen to where I'm at and um challenge me when I need to be challenged and validate when I when I need to be validated and reassure me as well. Um, she really empowers me a lot. Um, yeah.
What amazing results did you achieve in your business from working with Tara and LYPP? Walk us through your journey from start to now
debora fernandes: Through working with Tara and in this experience, I've been able to increase my confidence as a business owner and in my professional identity. I also have a lot of different marketing skills and tools, um, and things that work for my brain. Um, I definitely uh experienced a lot of overwhelm and avoidance, and I was really struggling to Expand my business in the ways that I have been wanting to. And through my work with Tara, I've been able to get these groups started. Um, I've been able to market some more, and I've been also able to lay out a plan for how I want to continue growing my business and uh ways that I can feel confidence and not too overwhelmed. No, not overwhelmed, um. Yeah, I've definitely been very supportive in that and feel that I have been able to make moves and continue to grow and really I guess. Continue in the growth that I've been wanting to do, um, but feel like I've been at a, a lull for a little bit.
Would you recommend this program, and Tara, to other intersectional mental health therapists, and why?
debora fernandes: I definitely would recommend this program and Tara to other intersectional mental health therapists. Um, this experience and Tara is incredibly supportive, validating, and encouraging. Um, she really is able to Listen and hear you and be able to help you move in the direction that you're wanting to. Whether you're just trying to start your private practice, or if you're someone like me that's trying to grow your practice, like you feel like you've been Kind of at a hit a lull and you wanna grow and um you just find yourself feeling kind of stuck. Um, Tara was really able to hear and listen to that. I think she also is really great at facilitating groups and providing that support in the group setting, not just in one on one, which is really helpful too, um, especially for the program part of this. Um, I really did appreciate having that group in addition to my one on ones with Tara. Um, and also with the modules, this information is really helpful, and I think especially for a therapist that is just starting out, um, she really sets you up for success. She gives you everything that you could possibly need to be able to Meat and likely exceed what you are making at a community mental health center. Um, at least that's been my experience and also not burning out while doing it too. Um, so yeah, I highly recommend this program, and I highly recommend Tara to anybody.
