Shanandiss Hampton: You're wasting more time thinking about trying it than improving your business or your project.
Can you tell us who you are and what you do?
Shanandiss Hampton: I'm Shanandiss and I am the founder of Nexodus, a virtual assistant and consultant agency that focuses on sales operations, and IT to streamline all those processes.
What problem were you trying to solve when you gave Sydnee a try?
Shanandiss Hampton: All the problems of business ownership, but more importantly, um, communication, communication with team and without swivel chairing information to a client and back and forth. So with Sydnee I was looking for a client portal where I could get information from my team directly to client, get feedback from clients, whether it were requests, um, or additional work so that we could, um, increase our workload, increase, you know, intake and up sales, um, but mostly communication, that was the primary thing that I was looking to have something that. Uh, both clients and my internal staff could be both housed and communicate back and forth with one another.
What’s your favorite feature - and how has it helped you in your work?
Shanandiss Hampton: Favorite feature, um, I have two. It's hard to just say one, so I'm going to say I have 2 that tie. One is the upsell feature. Something that is already built in. Um, whatever clients don't have, they can easily see what else we do, because we do a lot. Um, a lot of times clients come to us with a problem, but then there are other things that we can do as they grow their business because we're taking things off of their plate. It's easy for them to, you know, get, get a view into how else we can serve and help them, which makes it easier to upsell before we even have a conversation and before they look anywhere else for services that we already offer so they can have everything in one place. The second thing that I love about Sydnee, the Sydnee app is the Embed feature, being able to You know, for my team and then also for clients, the client portal side, being able to embed like our billing into the app and other other things that we do within the app itself is a lifesaver. It gives us one place to go, to get all the links, um, it's just very helpful.
If you had to describe Sydnee in a short phrase, what would it be?
Shanandiss Hampton: If I had to describe Sydnee in a short phrase, I would say Sydnee is not. It's not a project management tool, it's not a CRM, it's not a billing system, um, it's not AI, it's, it's not, but it is everything that you need. If that makes sense. Somehow it's not any of those things, you know, when you hear CRM you think of, OK, limitations, and you think of what it can do and then limitations. When I think billing system, I think of what it can do, then I think of limitations. When I think of project management tool, I think of what it can do, then I think of limitations. Well, Sydnee is not any of those things. That's what makes it what it is. It's, it's everything that you need.
Anything you’d like to say to someone who’s thinking about trying Sydnee?
Shanandiss Hampton: You're wasting more time thinking about trying it than improving your business or your project. Try it. You're wasting time thinking about it. You're wasting time watching me tell you not to waste time. Go ahead and try it. The worst thing that you could do is fall in love.
