Kathy explaining a scribe number: One of the first questions we'll ask you when you start a project is what your scribe or catalog number is. A scribe or catalog number is effectively the number that links the digital audio file with the physical representation on the vinyl. It gets written on the run out groove on the vinyl. It's, um, if you're working with a label, they'll provide that for you, but if you're not, what we need is a number, it's a series of numbers or letters that's about 10 characters long. If you're unsure, give us a yell and we're happy to help you work that through.
