Phebe Starr: This album was actually always intended to listen to away from the internet and away from Spotify and away from these big quick machines that you don't really get to experience music in the way that I did growing up on the farm in listening to vinyl music of, some of the best albums that I had, I didn't get at first. Like, I didn't fully understand. What they had to say. They were a bit ugly. They're a bit like, oh, I, I feel uncomfortable. but they opened up my world to new landscapes and new soundscapes and new ways of seeing things. And, that's the art that really attracts me is art that doesn't just make you feel good, it expands you.
