Speakers: . Stephen Green, The Music
Hi, it's Kellie Lloyd from Screamfeeder and Deafcult here. I just heard this album called Get Old by David mccormack.
Stephen Green: In Dave mccormack fashion. the lyrics are quite a joy to listen to the, the first song on the record. 200 Frank Sinatra's couldn't make me a nonstarter to the race to the bottom of your heart.
It's fun. It's kooky. There's lots of different vibes on this record. Lots of different moods. There's like cocktail hour stuff and Sunday morning recovery vibes. There's a bit of T rex, there's a little bit of sixties, guitar, sixties, garage rock and more laid back, classy cocktail vibes,
Stephen Green: it's always fun and playful and kind of sounds like an awkward first date. And I'm totally here for that.
Don't put it on 33 and go wow, this is like a real psych rock record. David mccormack. It's the wrong speed. Put it on 45 and you go, oh, yeah, this sort of feels better.
Stephen Green: Being a dad and taking every opportunity possible to, to listen to Bluey, previous, Dave mccormack albums, you've been listening to him as the guy from Custard. Now, you're kinda finding it hard to not listen to Bandit Healer, when you're listening to the record or maybe that's just me.
Its recorded by Wayne Connolly. Shane Melder is on the drums. Drum sounds are great. There's keyboards, there's even a saxophone, you kind of get a little bit of everything
