Branko Cosic: Hey there, Branko here from four triple Z. I hope you're having a fantastic day. I just want to tell you about an album that I got in the mail from our good friends at suitcase records the other day. And it is Indie Sounds of the Newy and the Hunter.
Branko Cosic: Some of my favorite tracks from this compilation is from bands such as Mucho Sonar with Flogging a Dead Horse, Jan with Bleach, The Grounds with Human Race, and The Golden Gay Times with goalposts on The Lazy Susan.
Branko Cosic: I love compilations because it is the best way to try to capture a point in time or a particular scene of bands that are getting together and are the lifeblood of the area. So the Indie Sounds from Newy and The Hunter does a fantastic job of getting 13 acts and putting it together to make it flow. So you've got a cohesive view of what is really happening in Newcastle at the moment.
