John Wilson: The inspiration for the song in my dream comes from the old chestnut of self reflection and relationship breakdown.

John Wilson: In my dream along with all of the songs on the album, was written in my home studio in Northern New South Wales. And I wrote it amongst others as an emotional expression of certain things that have been happening in my life in the last few years that needed to be told.
