Amanda Emblem: The inspiration for my song, Waterfall is pretty deep, actually. Waterfall is a metaphor in many ways for being in a place that is rich with creativity and beauty. And also an acknowledgement that although I, I write and record the songs, I also have a fantastic group of really inspiring people around me that allow me to be whatever I can be. And that song is, is pretty much a tribute to them and my whole creative process living in this beautiful place which is a waterfall of creativity.

Amanda Emblem: Waterfall was a song that had an evolution during its songwriting. It started off with a different title and when we recorded it, it was lacking something to be deadly honest. And we sat on that recording for quite some time. I listened to it over and over and racked my brains as to what it needed and what it needed was, was more visual. It needed something stronger. It needed, a great hook. And when I came up with Under the Waterfall to add to it, it just completed the song.
