Why do you recommend Studies Weekly to other educators?

I piloted Studies Weekly this year and I made sure to tell other educators in our building. about how great I think this program is. I like that you can use the program as it is, or you can beef it up in any way that you see fit. I was teaching four blocks of social studies a day using this program, and I told the people that I have talked to about this program that I think it aligns excellent with the standards that we are supposed to follow. And by far the best resource that I've had to use to teach Social Studies ever.

How has your experience been with Studies Weekly?

Tiffany F. : There is ease in using the program. The online portion is extremely user-friendly. I watched a video or two to become more familiar with it when I started the program, and also I really appreciated the customer service, the time or two that I felt I needed to reach out with questions. I've told everyone that wants to hear me talk about Studies Weekly that I think it's and excellent program for educators as well as students.

What features of Studies Weekly do you find most helpful for your students?

Tiffany F. : I love that Studies Weekly is available both in paper format as well as an online version. I find the online version is an excellent resource because it allows students to listen to the articles if the reading is a little bit too difficult for them. I love the online graphic organizers. I love the ability to print things and use paper pencil methods for some of the activities in the class. I like that I could just project the student edition on my board in the classroom, and students could highlight along in their editions on their Chromebooks in class and they could take notes from those. I love the little mini assessments that are available at the end of each article so that students can do a quick check of their understanding to see if they gathered the important information that they were supposed to from the articles.
