How does Studies Weekly align with your standards and inquiry?
I'm from Kentucky. I've taught elementary social studies for about nine years and I've been using Studies Weekly since my student teaching days. So that was about 12 years ago. And I've always loved Studies Weekly because of all the content that it had in there, especially for social studies because that's my area and it had everything in it. And then when the standard shifted in Kentucky to include inquiry, Studies Weekly revamped their program to also include inquiry. But not only is it like teacher-led inquiry Studies Weekly has options for teacher-led inquiry but it also has opportunities for students to develop their own inquiries, which is really ultimately what we want to get to with our Kentucky standards
