Dr. Duygu Karasan: I'm a reconstructive dentist located in Switzerland, Geneva, and I'm working at the University of Geneva as a faculty member. I love doing research and I love evidence-based dentistry. After finishing my specialization, I had done the prosthesis of my grandfather that of course I used Charman implants and it was an old denture, and he used it until the end, which was quite emotional for me to provide him the comfort and everything with those prostheses. I I really like to push the limits for the treatments that we are doing, which includes improving the efficiency of the treatments, improving the patient comfort at the same time, the outcomes, which makes it quite exciting for me to really follow up what is new, what is there, and can it be really used for the patient's benefit and the efficiency of the whole workflow. My push to have new things and novelties in my practice is where I excel.
