I would like to shout out Ms. Parisi. She was my fourth grade teacher, at Upper Room Christian School in Deer Park, New York. I don't know if she's still around, but I appreciated her. She showed me that there are people in this world that are biased based off of skin color and that she took the time out to be patient with my learning experiences and how I learn. As a kid, I always had a high IQ and a lot of teachers tried to push me back and pull me back. And they didn't like my assertiveness because I was brought up to be very assertive. But Ms. Parisi was a gem out of all the teachers straight into high school, even in college that I appreciated her so, so much. She taught me even a new skill, calligraphy, writing and I took it very, you know, well, over the years even though now I'm an adult, I don't practice it as much. But yeah, I love you Ms. Parisi. But yeah, I love you Ms. Parisi.
