What do you love about the site?

Holly B. Witt, MS, CCC, SLP: Hello. SpeechPathology.com actually gives us a lot of opportunity to use some of our skills and refine them and also to learn some different skills to help us with some new clients we may have.

Vickie Dull: I do love the ease of uploading those transcripts to ASHA. I also have enjoyed the variety of topics and the formats of the topics. I can choose audio or visual. I can choose to read the transcript with the visual ... with the video and I do love that flexibility.

How have our courses helped you?

Holly B. Witt, MS, CCC, SLP: SpeechPathology.com has really helped me in my work when I have some newer clients coming in that I have not dealt with that situation in a very long time. Since I've been around the field for 40 years ... new opportunities show up every day. And certainly we need ... I need new programs, new adjustments to the work I've always done.

Vickie Dull: I've served birth through age 21. Over the years, I've worked in rural districts as well as larger city school districts. I love that when the caseload brings a challenge, I can use SpeechPathology.com to really search a topic to look at past and current research, at topics such as selective mutism, neurodiversity, accent issues, bilingualism issues, language disorder versus language differences. I have really enjoyed having quick access to those topics, and SpeechPathology.com has given me a way to keep my transcripts current on ethical courses as well as diversity and pursuing all aspects of the public school caseload that I've served.

What stands out about your experience?

Holly B. Witt, MS, CCC, SLP: Since I've used SpeechPathology.com for the past 14 years, I've had a lot opportunity to see what's different in the field as it comes up through our ranks. First, with SpeechPathology.com it gives different formats. You can have a film version, you can have a live version that's been taped. You can have a text version. You can also have them of different lengths. You can actually get a course for a half hour, an hour, an hour and a half or even longer depending on the type of information you need. There are many different topics and it helps a lot when you're having a client that you have not seen before — when you need to look at these areas to make sure that you have the right information and the most current information to do the best job you can with this new client. And most of all it has different levels of proficiency. So if you are really unfamiliar with a certain area, you can start at beginners' level and then you can go to an intermediate level and then if you're really feeling comfortable, you can use an advanced-level course to make a difference within ... every child that you have.

Vickie Dull: I have tried other services, and I have come back to SpeechPathology.com over and over again for my topics for my studies. I believe that the price point is excellent. I do like the variety of formats—ways that you can explore a topic and I have found it to be very current and the long-standing topics that you can go back and refresh, be it working with students with autism, working with students who speak other home languages. I enjoy the topics that I can seek out and do numerous courses in a row and really explore the different perspectives of presenters. SpeechPathology.com has been a go-to for me.
