Speaker: Davis ritter
Please introduce yourself and let us know how long you have been in coaching!
Davis ritter: I'm Davis Ritter. I'm from Colorado and I've been in coaching with Andrew for about a year now.
What was your main reason for wanting to join Student Coaching?
Davis ritter: I wanted to get into coaching just to better myself and make me more mature than my peers around me. So I'll be more successful later in life.
What is your coach like? AND Are they a good fit for you?
Davis ritter: My coach is hard on me but not to the point where I don't like doing this stuff, he's hard on me till the point where I like, I like doing it still and he still pushes me to get better every day. And I think my coach is a great fit for me and we work well together.
What is your favorite thing OR the most important thing that you have learned in coaching so far?
Davis ritter: I'd say the most important thing I've learned in coaching so far is most, everything you do is just in your mindset. If you want to get better at something, it's all in your mindset.
What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about joining Student Coaching?
Davis ritter: Some advice I'd give to someone who's looking to join coaching is if you want to do it, you're gonna, you have to want it. And if you want it, you'll get better. But if you don't want to do it, I mean, it's just another task that your parents are making you do. There's no reason to do it and it won't better yourself.
If you could tell your coach anything, what would you want to tell them?
Davis ritter: If I could tell my coach anything, I'd probably tell them how thankful I am for them and how much they've bettered my life with only being with them for a year and how much they can change your mindset in one coaching call.
