Speakers: Brad Haller, Mercy
Could you describe a time when the community helped you?
Brad Haller: Probably the most recent example would be how to handle Pride Month, when you're a Catholic organization. Acknowledging and, you know, sustaining the dignity of all people is such an important piece of what we do, but we also understand that there is a lot of politics, there's a lot of faith issues surrounding people of different backgrounds, and so having the ability to just touch base with and have a full conversation with others in the Catholic health space to see what they've done and how they presented and highlighted their colleagues without getting into some of the nitty gritty or political or landmines that might get a lot of people angry. It's a fine line, because you're always gonna have somebody that's angry, but you also have somebody who's truly impacted by what you post. So just being able to navigate that fine line and hear from others who have been in that same situation. It's huge. It's a big help for us.
