Over the last 5 years, we've worked with over 1500 Australian leaders across a wide range of sectors, roles, organisations. Every single one of those engagements has started with the same question, how can I improve my impact as a leader? We've captured all those answers, and for the first time we've done some analysis on the data that we've gathered. That's given us a unique insight into the development priorities of Australia's leaders over the last 5 years. We can see what's stayed the same over that period and what shifted in importance. And what we've seen is that there are 6 clear capabilities that these 1500 leaders have focused on in that period. What we've also seen is that for female leaders, there's one particular capability that they've focused on far more than their male counterparts. We've summarised these findings in a white paper that we've recently released.
