Speakers: Bridgette Batson, SLP, Northside ISD (TX)

Bridgette Batson: Hello, my name is Bridget Batson. I'm a speech therapist in the school setting here in the great state of Texas. So I have been a speech therapist since 2005 and most of that has been in the medical setting. So 10 of those or so of those 11 of those years were in the medical setting. So we had to be pretty precise in our documentation and very curt with it. So coming to a school setting is a lot of paperwork, a lot more paperwork than it was previously. So what I have learned is to streamline and try to organize it.

Bridgette Batson: Our school district Northside decided to acquire a contract with SLP Toolkit. I was at first resistant because of the amount of time that it took to set it up. But boy, when I did it, it was a game changer. Like when I say game changer, game changer. It freed up time where I was able to actually do therapy services for my students and, and it also allowed me a little bit of flexibility with the therapy material because they have reading material in there. They have language material, articulation. They have a great resource database that you can pull from while you're trying to do the therapy.

Bridgette Batson: So I really found that SLP Toolkit has been like spectacular and helping me to be a better therapist in a school setting.
